Lizzie Borden-Couch With Hatchet

Couch with hatchet — An almost exact replica of the couch where Mr. Borden was killed while he was napping is in the drawing room of the Lizzie Borden House. A plastic hatchet has been placed there by the tour guides just for fun. Although the murder weapon itself was never found, forensic evidence shows it was a hatchet, not an axe, that was used to perform the murders.
