She recently took home a bronze in the 2013 NATJA Awards for profiling a mahout in Thailand and a silver in the 2013 Solas Awards for her piece on searching for betelnut princesses in Taiwan. Say the words culture, adventure, good food, good wine, or good company, and she’s packed (with a good book in tow, no less).
