Originally from England, Jennifer Crites has been a writer/photographer for more than two decades, including several years as Managing Editor of ALOHA, a national magazine. She’s a consummate traveler, and her work has appeared in books by Dorling Kindersley, Oxford Press, Aboard Publishing and HCI Publications; Fodor’s, Northstar Travel Media and other guides; and numerous magazines including Travel+Leisure; Honolulu, Hawaii and Hana Hou!; The New Yorker, TravelWorld and many more. She is the co-author of a nature book, Sharks and Rays of Hawaii (Mutual Publishing 2002) and is currently working on a mystery novel set in Hawaii.
